My name is Jonathan Graham. I am 44 years old and from a small town in the state of Oregon. I lived a wayward life, either incarcerated approximately 20 years in prison, or on drugs for 30 plus years. After several failed attempts to remain clean and sober, rehab, after treatment stays, I never could stay in abstinence, or in recovery for very long. My spiritual walk was I claimed to be a follower of Christ and a believer, but like the Bible warns, (lukewarm), and I cut him out of certain areas of my life so I could live how I pleased.
After a terrible relapse that nearly took my life twice, and a hospital stay, and out of complete and utter desperation, I cried out to GOD and surrendered. I made my way into a detox center, then requested inpatient treatment, all on what I felt was GOD’s will. After completing treatment services, and after a conversation about GOD, my counselor referred me to a yearlong, faith-based program called Truly Motivated. I was convinced once again that this was GOD’s will and accepted the opportunity.
Since being at TMTL, I have not only found a close personal relationship with GOD but found trust in staff and my peers who I can count on. I currently have 6 months clean, and I have worked the steps with the help of a sponsor. I am working full-time, and following the standard requirements and guidelines, while remaining in compliance. I live in a beautiful home, and I am so grateful for TRULY MOTIVATED AND STAFF. THANK YOU SINCERELY!
I am looking forward to graduating next year on June 12th, 2023, and enjoying the rest of my life.
