Application Process

Our application process for our clean and sober living program in Washington state is simple and can be completed in one of two ways: online or hard copy. Apply online here. To submit a hard copy, you can print a paper copy (download the application as a PDF file or Word document) and fax it to 360-400-1962 or scan and email it to office@tmtl.org. After the application is received, applicants will be asked to complete an interview. The application process also includes a background check for sexual misconduct (Truly Motivated Transitional Living does not accept sex offenders).

The main criteria for anyone seeking housing with Truly Motivated is:

  • Seven days of continued sobriety and/or seven days of clean and sober living.
  • Successfully passing a UA test and/or alcohol test upon move-in.
  • Ability to pay program fee.
  • Agreement with all phase contracts and program guidelines.
  • Motivation, willingness to be held accountable and a desire to change your life!

Our first phase is the Discovery Phase, which has a duration of four weeks. During this time, our staff will evaluate the resident’s willingness and ability to complete the Discovery Phase and continue in our clean and sober living program.

Financial Arrangements

Our sober living program fee is $520 per month, plus a $50 deposit. This includes room, utilities (breakfast and lunch foods are also available), UA testing, a staff coach, relapse prevention groups, faith-based classes, on-site 12-step meetings, phone services, cable and laundry machines.

Residents must pay at time of move-in, and program fees will be due on the first of each month thereafter. We understand that it can be challenging for individuals to pay everything at once. Truly Motivated allows residents to make payment arrangements, but rent must be paid in full by the 10th of each month. We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash or check.

There are many local funding sources available to help residents with their first few months of tenancy, please speak to one of our staff to get connected with these resources.
